Cryogenic Piping & Services

MIPS is pleased to be the sole agent for Thames Cryogenics Limited (TCL) across the island of Ireland. From the smallest dewar, a decant flexible hose or a distribution system with hundreds of meters of pipe feeding 50 freezers from 50,000 litre bulk vessels, Thames Cryogenics have systems installed all over the world in daily use.

MIPS can supply, install and maintain TCL’s total range of cryogenic systems, from cryogenic bulk vessels, through to valves, piping and freezers. These are combined with oxygen depletion monitoring and extraction systems, project-managed and delivered to the highest standard. We also offer TCL’s world-class products for dewar filling and laboratory storage.

SIVL Servicing

SIVL service contracts are designed to preserve your SIVL line. We will check for a ‘soft’ vacuum and replace valves before they fail. Our highly experienced engineers will inspect your line, provide a full report on its condition and ancillary equipment, as well as recommend any remedial works necessary to keep your system operating safely and efficiently. Service contracts are usually for 12 months.

Freezer Servicing

Preventative maintenance is the key to laboratory equipment efficiency and continuity. Our experienced engineers will inspect your freezers, provide a full report on the condition of your cryogenic storage and relevant valves, and suggest any remedial works necessary to keep them operating safely and efficiently. Service contracts are usually for 12 months, however, we can also offer multi-year contracts, please Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Dewar Servicing

Dewar service contracts are designed to preserve your dewars and keep them in constant use, replacing valves and burst discs before they fail. Our highly experienced engineers will inspect your dewar(s), provide a full report on the condition of both your dewar and its ancillary equipment, as well as suggest any remedial works that may be necessary to keep the system operating safely and efficiently. Service contracts are usually for 12 months.
